Wow! I did not know that this went on! I guess it’s acceptable because they’re getting paid to promote and sponsor their brand, name, company, product, etc. But it does seem like companies are using famous athletes to get themselves or their products promoted. However, it appears to be a win-win situation. Unfortunately, I could see this backfiring. I agree that companies need to be selective on whom they chose to promote their name and/or products. But athletes should also genuinely support whatever they’re promoting. That way they’re being honest with their fans!
